My poor neglected blog, how I have deserted you since discovering Instagram and loosing my camera cord....
Now I enjoy easily taking photos with my tablet and quickly showing off what I am doing directly to Instagram and then followed by Flickr or even Facebook (that's mostly just for family). Of course the photos are very grainy and I haven't found a way to share them anywhere else, but I do have this one photo before Instagram took over my life.
I made a couple extra 4" squared bees for the teenytinyblockswap and I thought they would make perfect pincushions, would you like a little summer bee flying your way to you! I will be making them up in a few days. I can't wait for summer and warm weather, it hasn't been freezing cold or extremely snowy here, but still my favorite time of year is summer.
Speaking of summer look at this pretty little red sunflower.
A Quarter Inch from the Edge is hosting a "Heart Kona" linky, I love Kona, do you?
I used Play Crafts Palette Builder to find my matching Kona's, and the photo is from Wikipedia.
And speaking of bee's and Kona, you can go over to Buzzin Bumble and enter in Lara's Kona Card giveaway, I would so love to win this, I have several Kona's okay over 100 that I don't even know the name of, help!
Tell me how your weather is in your part of the world and I will pick a winner to receive a bee pincushion and I just might add a few pieces of Kona :)
Giveaway ends March 1st, Good Luck

ReplyDeleteHi. I live in N.E. Georgia and the weather here is horrible. We had an ice storm with 1/2 inch of ice on Tuesday. Some melted yesterday, but the wind came up and it has been in the 20's all day today. I have seen some snow flakes blowing around, but we haven't had enough to call it a snow storm.

The bee is adorable...great job. It's been cold here and everyone is looking for spring. Yesterday's high was in the teens, but this morning we're starting out at 14 so it should be a little warmer!
ReplyDeleteWhat a sweet bee! I cannot resist a good sunflower photo either! Welcome back to the bloggy world...I have resisted Instagram, and so I am always happy when insta folks pop back into blog land now and then :) I am in central Montana where we are in the midst of freeze and thaw of spring, which results primarily in MUD!
ReplyDeleteIt is FREEZING here in Northern Virginia. We were at 4 degrees (-4 with windchill). Expecting heavy snow tomorrow. I am done with winter..

ReplyDeleteAdorable bee!
ReplyDeleteIt's been so spring like and warm out here, I'm worried that the fruit trees will start blooming before the bees wake up to pollinate them!

ReplyDeleteI've already won from you and should let someone else have the chance (because how awesome is that bag!?), but we're having miserably cold weather right now. Nothing like most of the eastern part of Canada and the US, so I shouldn't whine too much, but I can't seem to hold myself back :D You might have seen a picture of me wearing what looks like a niqab on Instagram, but is actually just a scarf wrapped around my head. It was a cold walk to the train station this morning for work!
ReplyDeleteHere in Cheddar, Uk...it's just grey days and chill... Fingers crossed as we head towards spring..it'll get sunnier.... But then I'll not have the excuse to stay inside...and sew will I??! Thanks for the chance to win.
