Sunday Stash

I won this lovely fabric bundle from Jen over at Jen's Crafts and Quilts.

They don't have a name on the selvedge but are a heavier weight fabric that will be really good for pouches, but I couldn't resist in using them for this months Europe Siblings Together block.

And I used my favorite fabrics from the pack
She wanted a low volume plus, this is a light purple flower, do you see it?
And I used some of this orange flower, the quilt will be for an older girl.
I didn't use this print since it is to large, for this project, but it is also one of my favorites from the fabric bundle.
I think the block turned out perfect.
Also last week I got my 5" charm squares from the Purple Charm Swap put on by Amanda at What the Bobbin.

I went a little wild, I originally took 3 spots, but when there were only 6 spots left and no one was taking them I stepped in and said, I will take them let's get this show on the road.  This allowed me to pick up some purple favorites that no one else was getting, like Joel Dewberry
Amanda also sent along these adorable pins, love!
I have realized from this charm swap, that I really really like tone on tone prints.
tone on tone in dots, chevrons, geometrics, and florals.
I also like the fussy cut able ones.
And my favorite designers
Alison Glass, Tula Pink and Kate Spain
